MAY IS GARAGE DOOR SAFETY MONTH

May is garage door safety month -- the perfect time to make sure one of the largest moving parts of your home is operating safely and reliably. Take a few minutes to inspect your garage door system. Look for broken springs, frayed cable, and any rollers, pulleys or any other components that might look worn and in need of replacement. Make sure you keep the area clear of clutter and debris. Ensure the auto reverse function of the photo eyes located near the bottom of your door are working properly to help prevent accidents. Listen for any unusual noises such as grinding, scraping or clicking which can signal a potential issue. If you experience anything unusual, fill out our website submission form (or give us a call) to schedule a time for our team to take a closer look. Your safety is our priority, and we are here to keep your garage door functioning smoothly all year long.

COMMUNITY CORNER

Looking for a meaningful way to spend a spring evening right here in our community? Stonewall Farm will be hosting the 4th Annual Floating Lanterns Festival on Saturday, May 23rd, from 6pm-9pm. This special event, organized by Monadnock Peer Support, brings people together for an evening of reflection and community. Admission is free (lanterns are available for $15.00 each), and markers and stencils will be provided for decorating! Family fun activities such as face painting, horse drawn wagon rides, a bounce house and more will be available throughout the evening. At dusk, lanterns will be launched into the brook, and weather permitting the movie Tangled will be shown. Click here to learn more and view full event details.

THE TEAM

This month we want to introduce you to a person many of you already know and have seen. Greg is our Project Manager and Senior Commercial Foreman. While he has been part of our team for over 10 years, Greg has been installing and servicing garage doors and garage door openers for over 15 years. Greg embodies our mission of “creating wildly enthusiastic customers” by going above and beyond on each job site and for each person he encounters. Check out his most recent Google review. After Greg is finished fixing garage doors, you might find him in the white mountains tackling his next 4,000 footer.
