Nylon vs. Metal Rollers: What’s the Difference?

One of the most overlooked components of a garage door system is the roller, and upgrading to nylon rollers can dramatically improve performance. Making this simple upgrade will place less strain on your door which can help extend the life of your entire system.
Why choose nylon rollers? I’m glad you asked:
*Smoother Operation-Nylon rollers are designed to reduce vibration allowing your garage door to open and close more smoothly.
*Quieter Performance-Metal rollers often create excess noise. Nylon rollers significantly reduce noise and minimize friction as the door moves along the track.
*Longer Lasting Design-Our nylon rollers include a protective cap that keeps out dust, dirt, and debris helping them last longer than standard metal rollers
If your garage door is loud or jerky, this small upgrade can make a noticeable difference. Quiet operation isn’t just about comfort-it’s a sign of quality and proper function. Call our team today, or submit our website form to discuss upgrading to nylon rollers

THE TEAM

Our team recently completed a unique commercial project that required careful planning and precise measurements. The installation featured two doors, with one door’s track system running above the other, allowing both doors to operate within the same space without sacrificing functionality. We want to give a special shout-out to our technicians who completed this job in blistering, subzero temperatures, demonstrating true commitment to both their craft and our customers. Despite the challenging conditions, the team remained focused on safety and quality throughout the entire install. This project is just one example of how our team approaches complex projects with skill, teamwork, and confidence.
