NEW AND IMPROVED GARAGE DOOR OPERATORS

February may be cold, but things are heating up when it comes to technology in residential garage door openers! This month we are excited to highlight our new and improved Raynor garage door operators. If your garage door opener is about 15 years old, you may want to consider replacing it, and by doing so, take advantage of the newest upgrades in security and safety. We are proud to offer both belt and chain drive options as well as traditional trolley openers and side mount direct drive units.

*These new operators are all equipped with MyQ technology which allows you to open, close, and monitor your door.

*Security was a major upgrade with most of the openers integrating a camera. This means you can keep an eye on what is happening in your garage whenever you need to!

*Battery backup options are available to keep your opener working. This means you can come and go as you please even if the power is out.

Whether you want to replace an ageing opener, or you’re simply looking at upgrading your unit, check out our new and improved Garage Door Openers tab on our website or give our team a call. We are happy to discuss the different options with you and help you determine what unit would be the best for your home.

COMMUNITY CORNER

Winter in Keene wouldn’t be the same without the Snow and Ice Festival located on Main street. This annual event showcases the talent of artists crafting ice sculptures, and begins at 11am on Saturday February 7th, ending that evening at 5pm. While you’re downtown stop in some of the local shops and support Keene’s local businesses! If you plan on attending, stay warm, drive safely, and enjoy everything downtown Keene has to offer!

THE TEAM

This month we want to introduce you to a face many of you have probably seen. Mark is our senior residential technician and has been a part of our team for 15 years. He is often praised by our customers for being punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. Check out his most recent Google review. When Mark isn’t fixing garage doors, he loves enjoying watching a good horror movie or spending time in the great outdoors.

May is garage door safety month -- the perfect time to make sure one of the largest moving parts of your home is operating safely and reliably. Take a few minutes to inspect your garage door system. Look for broken springs, frayed cable, and any rollers, pulleys or any other components that might look worn and in need of replacement. Make sure you keep the area clear of clutter and debris. Ensure the auto reverse function of the photo eyes located near the bottom of your door are working properly to help prevent accidents. Listen for any unusual noises such as grinding, scraping or clicking which can signal a potential issue. If you experience anything unusual, fill out our website submission form (or give us a call) to schedule a time for our team to take a closer look. Your safety is our priority, and we are here to keep your garage door functioning smoothly all year long.
